I wonder what was happening then, they were all talking about a road being partially closed due to a march or something.

First day of the X67:

1502 is on the first board (X67A) and will work the last X66 from Darlington tonight. It is branded in the same style as 1416.
And 1415 is the other Stockton turn (X67B)
The X66/X67 OmniCitys have yet to have their internal X66 map replaced by a new X66/X67 one.

Former London B7TL 7410 (LG52DDJ) has now entered service at Blyth depot - seen on (of course) the 308 earlier, as photographed by emdjt42
7609 should transfer to Durham in the near future.

That looks smart! Although the advert holders are in a funny position if MAX logos are to be applied.

Talking of MAX, why does 7618 have WYMetro stickers on the near side window?

I think 7618 was down to a mistake with the design (after the 268) - I can't believe Durham haven't removed them yet but I suppose they've got bigger problems on the X12 than stickers Rolleyes

Ah right.  Big Grin

But FFS, the photo of 7410. Why has nobody been bothered to replace the rear upstairs window. A couple of ex-London vehicles that I've been on have had the same etching on the windows.  Dodgy

Stockton depot must be pretty good compared to Redcar.   Their Sapphire 5's always seem to have the next screen announcements on, and always at the same volume.
Whereas you can get on a 4. X4 and a lot of the time its either turned off completely, the screen not working or volume down so low s to be inaudible.

Whether you like the NSA's or not, am sure theyve not invested in it just to be unused.

Likewise the power sockets, you've got more chance of winning the lottery than getting on an X4 and being able to charge your phone!

X67 to M'bro this morning at Stockton High Street said next stop bus station, so obviously not been told about Thornaby Station! Seems it also stops at the Bon Lea?

Considering the X67 doesn't have Next Stop Announcements programmed in yet might answer that query. The X66 also hasn't yet had its announcements updated.

Anyone know if the next few B7TL's are at Thorntons for their refurbishment now, or have they already been done?

I believe they're being done by one of the London depots.
Thorntons are busy doing other MAX refurbishments for us - 1404, 1405, 1493, 1501(?) and maybe 7605 are over there at present I think, plus the 7 Temsa's obviously, these have all been getting MOTs done over the last few weeks so they should be ready to go straight out upon completion (soon!)

7601 is now back at Blyth post refurbishment

Ah okay, will be interesting to compare the quality of the jobs Smile

The Temsa's have been a long time in getting to this stage have they not?

Yeah I asked when I was up there the other week how much longer they reckoned and the answer was about a month. So based on that, they should be ready in a week or two.
They've been having to make modifications to the engine bays - the Redcar ones had all of these done previously - I believe they've been adding fire surpression systems etc (useful on Temsa's based on their track record!) and various other systems. Not to mention refurbishing the interior and finally giving them a full repaint.

4651 is once again the X66/X67 launch bus for today's events. The Stockton launch is in the same car park Stagecoach's 'Connecting The Dots' launch took place at the North End opposite M&S

Blink and you'll miss it... they might as well not have bothered...

Given that you do a launch to attract potential new passengers, I really can't see how this can be achieved within 20 minutes.

The bus was there from 11. Titan the Robot did the 20 minutes. Funny how it attracted a large crowd around the North End of the High Street.
