Charles

Thanks, Phoenix actually asked me if I was intrested in taking some photos of that coach, so I accepted their offer and we ended up going down on this to Blyth Quayside where I got this photo. I got a shot where we can see more of the boat behind it. Also snapped a few things in their yard which I may upload at some point.

Very kind of them, and very good of you to be in a position to actually talk to them  Big Grin
Definitely upload whatever else they have, could always do with some more photos for our fleetlist
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Right I've gone through and updated our fleetlist completely, adding in the deckers etc
http://northeastbuses.co.uk/fleet/operat...perator=92

Other points to note
A12PNX Cheetah (909) - re-registered back to YN10FZA
A14PNX Cheetah (911) - re-registered back to YN58CGO
Can anyone supply fleet numbers for those missing from our list?
That would be Solo's KX53SCZ, KY63VTG, Vario YP02FZL and new Yutong YG65ASV

I believe 912 SF05XCY has been sold as this registration no longer exists?
The new Yutong coming in has probably replaced this anyway.

No fleet numbers for those vehicles, otherwise they would be on the ticket and a small red sticker on the vehicle.

KX53 SCZ is 906
KY63 VTG is 902
YP02 FZL is no longer at Phoenix, it was a loan from Fishwicks
YG65 ASV is 912

909 & 911 are being prepared for sale on Friday and being replaced with 2 * Yutong TC9's
Sf05 XCY was sold to Procters and has been sold on.

Thank you very much for your update, and welcome to the forum! It's always great to have operators keeping us up to date.

Ah brilliant! Thanks for the update Smile

I haven't seen the Iveco (901/MX09KKC) for a while, has it gained the new logos or has that moved on too?

Cheers, last saw it in either September or October on the old 30.

I have seen a rise in Transits recently so that explains it.  Smile

Presumably the 2 Cheetah's have now been sold.

Also added to the fleet is Volvo B10M Alexander PS training bus M421RRN from East Yorkshire.

Sad to hear the Cheetahs have been sold. It was always a welcome sight when they used to be allocated to the 30. Sad

Can't access Flickr on the wifi, but are the Yutongs the small length coaches? I saw one a month ago.

Yeah they've had a longer one for a few months but the two shorter ones have turned up now.

If Phoenix see this can you confirm they are 35 seaters as per similar ones in the NE?

They are 35 seaters, I had 911 on a school trip 2 weeks ago.
Against the Anti-Lee Club.
RE: Phoenix Coaches
How come when they have Not In Service on they also display the number 1. This could confuse people around wallsend and blyth with thinking it could be the GNE or ANE service 1

I have noticed that, and people have complained to staff at Arriva because "the bus was white, so I missed it" and "the bus was early", when its just been Phoenix's vehicles running SNIS.

Yep surely they shouldnt have a number on when being NIS

They've got 4 of them - presumably used mainly on school work.
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Will phoenix be gaining more service work as they only have
Service k1/k2
Service 19,333 (same bus)
The usual buses allocated are
Ky63vtg
Nj11Exj
Then solos that get no movement are
Kx53scz
Mv07exu
Yj59nno
The green 57 reg bus
And as the 333 is up for tender it could lead to buses being sold.
4842
Best bus ever

Well they have the evening 17 which I believe has a PVR of two phoenix buses, I see two solos (KX53 SCZ and the ASDA bus) moving on

3 buses for the 17
RE: Phoenix Coaches
Forgot to mention this yesterday, Phoenix seem to be using the B7s on the 17 now, so I wonder if they have sold some of the Solos? Haven't saw a 17 tonight as it doesn't come around my way on a evening but will have a look next week when I use it sometime to see if the B7s are still on. Waste of petrol if they are allocated.
