NK62CLZ has lost it's powersteering, as such it has been left conked out just outside of low fell towards newcastle.
RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - September 2016
Probably related to the above, Three Hybrids not in service Northbound through Low Fell, one randomly entered service at the Alestaster and the others powered through (about 20.45)
Wistfully stuck in the 90s

No. Just saying I wasn't aware of that change.
And if it amazes you I obviously don't need a medal

No - all ten are still at Saltmeadows Road being prepared for service.

All ten vehicles are presently scheduled to enter service on Wednesday 7th September.

Any info on the "Red" ones?, such as which service they'll be allocated to, brand? Tongue

The three red Solo SRs will enter service next week without branding - I believe this will instead follow at a later date.

689 has gained Go North East logos prior to entry into service:

I'll watch out for them on the way to work.

Only service with 3 PVR at Deptford is the 238.

Could count the 9 but i don't think GNE will want a mixture of buses on the service.

The short 9s interwork with Scholars services on Schooldays so allocating Solos to them is should best be avoided Tongue

3x mpds can be displaced replacing 547,554 and another mpd unless that mpd is directly withdrawn from deptford.
Also 8261-65 Withdrawn.
570 can be withdrawn.
A solar can move to riverside replacing 8266

Saw a red solo crossing the bridge at MetroCentre this morning heading into the bus station, didn't see any fleet numbers or reg number as I was boarding a red kite to Consett

Following on from rare/odd workings discussion:

Are the displays that only show a number (604/605/3887/3888) the same concept as, say, the B9 deckers which only show the RN in the middle? I always thought the B9s used smaller square displays but I saw an arriva streetlite with a full length display only showing where the gap in the black glass was, messing up because "not in service" was larger.
My mind suddenly clicked that the centre number on a full sized may also be used on the B9 deckers.

What other buses apart from the Merits and the one Scania will Washington lose when the Solo's enter service?
