It changed a couple of weeks ago, I think it's one of the better private registrations as it has some relevance to the vehicle and can be tossed onto any vehicle that happens to use the service in the future - and still retain relevance. The others just seem to be kept for the sakes of being kept.

Apparently the bus tried to get through before the barriers went down but failed...

The barrier ended up on top of the front end of the bus!

Has 4980 gone to Saltmeadows so it can get the new livery?

And if not, I can't see it not getting done while it is there like most of the Omnidekkas at Stanley.

Ye, i think they'll look smart in the new livery, although they are similar to the L94's (in some sort!).

If that is true it's a disgrace of a so called professional driver.

All four baby Solos now are, and all four have had Hanover destinations fitted, so are reasonably close to entering service.

I think it's 708 which has also been re-trimmed. Another has had its seats removed prior to being re-trimmed.

Diamond 5290 has now been withdrawn from service and is in storage at Saltmeadows Road prior to being refurbished at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn.

Looks very smart - can you tell us where they are going? Going to guess one is for the 168, and the rest will be for Percy Main?

If they do, they'll go on the W service (can't remember which one they got) and the 333.

At least 1 or 2 Solo's from the 353 will probables join the indigo brand with the other one moving else where.

W1/W1A it was with a PVR of 2, but the 333 will need something bigger than the baby Solos.

Hopefully they will refurbish the older Solos sometime to match the spec of the newer Solos. But yeah I think 637/638/639 will all transfer to Percy Main with 637/638 on the indiGo and 639 on the 333.

Is 5284 still on schedule to arrive back next week?, if so, will others follow or is that tye only one due back?

5284 is still due to return next week, yes. Probably won't be back out in service next week though.

I believe that the indiGo North Tyne network currently has two branded spare Solos - two of the older former Nexus branded examples which don't have the same features as the new indiGo North Tyne Solos.

So will the current 2 spares just be allocated to the 42/42A with at least 1 Solo from the 353 taking a spare role?

6123 occasionally shows an upper deck view of forwards. It's rather strange and it confused the driver to whom it happened to.

549 has broke down right on the roundabout in front of the Stadium of Light

5206 replaced 549, while 3981 replaced 564.

Solo 700 on service 38 today while MPD 570 is on service 238.
3980 on service 39, and 3982 on service 61.
4961 replaced 8327 on services 2/2A.

I did see a not in service Scania come out from the Stadium but didn't think much of it, thought it might of been for the open training day.
