Often. Been on Q1/Q2 the past 3 days at least. You won't see it at Eldon Square, though, since the Q1/2 go from Station to Market street then onwards.

I'm hoping to ride the Great Exhibition of the North Versa at some point. I need to change from Q3 to Q2 for Gateshead College. I hope my Q1/Q2 will be 5390. 

Sorry, it was on Q3 at Eldon Square. Not sure when it was. It's not usually on the Q3.

You have a higher chance of seeing it at Gateshead Interchange since 3 different Quaylinks leave at roughly the same time.

Use the GNE app and check the Quaylinks once in a while, if you see it, take a trip to Gateshead Metro and go from there. You can be waiting for weeks for it to show up on the board you want it to be on.

Why are 5440 and 5441 different to the rest off the streetlites?

Apparently they are different in engines or something. Is that why 5438 and 5439 came before?

They are fitted with tachographs.

6158 is conked out on the Tyne Bridge, at the traffic lights southbound.

They were going to have different engines, but that decision was reversed and they have the same Cummins engine as all the previous ones. Streetlites from 5442 upwards have Euro 6 Daimler engines, which are a better match for the transmission.

There's a 4 branded Merc getting a lift home tonight. Broke down Bournmoor/Fencehouses area.

Low-loader driver somehow got it through the roadworks outside the Beehive. No idea how!

It was involved in an accident at fencehouses crossings. quite significant front nearside damage apparently . Unsure of fleet number.

The railway crossings? There was a decent amount of glass lying on the road on the CoS side of the lines come to think of it.

Was too far behind it to id it unfortunately.
