Aye, I saw the sign on the one in the qube. Teething problems, apparently. Well if they're looking for chicken with teeth, they'll be closed a while.

For those who have forgotten, are too young or simply unaware of the previous documentary...
Here's a clip they made earlier - which coincided with relegation.

I have to say, I cannot wait for their relegation to be confirmed! Big Grin

In the absence of a 'what's made you shake your head today' thread, this is probably the most relevant one to post in.

The world's oldest helium balloon?
It's what passes for news in Birmingham these days apparently...

Some pensioner got put in their place on way back from Carlisle on the 685 as they were demanding the windows kept shut as a load of scholars got on at Brampton and they opened them as the bus was hot and they got told off by scholars and other adult passengers for acting like a petulant child, after that not a word was heard from them the rest of the way back.

Probably the woman who walked onto a boiling 46 streetlite and slammed the windows shut.

Currently well ntertained by the original Get Carter. The landmarks are great but some of the accents are as painful as the acting (and the misogyny)

A pensioner seemed to assume I was a dispatcher while waiting for my train at Carlisle to come back. Probably as my coat, a Ferrari F1 team jacket is the same colour as the Virgin Trains Staff jackets. Must’ve got confused. He was asking for the train to Newcastle.

So called adults yesterday at Carlisle pushing and shoving and arguing yesterday when Flying Scotsman was there. Then Station staff threatened to close the platform if they didn’t behave themselves as they were standing too close to the edge as well. One in particular kept getting angry at people and shouting at them for standing in the way when they were videoing with a tripod (shouldn’t have been using one in the first place as at Carlisle Station it says in the entrance way no tripods but some people take no notice).

(05 Apr 2015, 5:06 pm)MurdnunoC wrote Similar to the 'What has made you happy today?' thread I suppose but what makes you laugh isn't really the same as what makes you happy. For example, I can be in a bad-mood for most of the day but still find things which make me laugh. Anyway, I digress...

I was looking at jobs on the former Jobcentre Plus website (now Universal Jobmatch) and found one which made me laugh.

Aside from the fact they're looking for a 'Pizza Delivery Drivey' (whatever that is), I also found the name of the firm rather amusing - Rominos Pizza.

Wonder where the name came from?

Would love to see a picture of the shop itself.

In all reality, prob ecoect you to stand on a roundabout in spiderman cossie.

I've often wondered if we should have a birthday thread.
Wishing happy birthday to members on their special day.

However, on seeing all of the birthdays today, I thought it would take a while to send our regards.
Until I realised it was perennial profile creator, odd working poster, odd working deleter extraordaire Lee Sinclair and just some of his many profiles!

Bless. He shares a birthday with my brother, wherever he is, these days.

a policeman riding past me on a bike on Fawcett Street referring to a beggar as a smackhead that was pestering people for change outside of Sunderland Station, heard it on their radio.
