Anyone know when I could possibly catch 5303 (the yellow and blue Tynedale Links Citaro) on Tynedale Express services X84/X85? Thanks.

It's the bus that is allocated to service 680 - so in theory, never.

In theory, never, But, in practice, anything is possible! 5303 does TVTs and the occasional 12. Apparently it was on the X84/X85 on Thursday 27th February...according to Bustimes.

How much longer on the Citaros on the X84/X85? How often is a TVT decker on those services?

That's how I discovered 5303 had been on the X84/X85 as I have never actually seen it. Usually I see 5303 on a 10A. I was hoping 5303 or a TVT would be on them at some point.

It is uncommon regardless.

Hexham have one spare minibus, one spare single-deck and one spare double-deck. They've got to have more than one of each type off service to start having issues with cross-branding or allocation of incorrect vehicle types.

Nobody on this forum, or indeed at Go North East, can tell you when this will happen. It all depends on how many vehicles Hexham have off service on a morning.

Thanks for the replies (and shattered dreams!). When are the Citaros going, and will they be replaced with double or single deckers?
