Presumably the shorter Euro 6 E200s are needed for the 32 given the size restrictions on this route, hence resulting in the 317 being allocated these longer E300s.

I also noticed a sign for stagecoach Manchester covering the cctv operation on the staircase!!!

I was on it yesterday and the current Enviro 300 allocation imo is not suitable. As in length because that route (in Percy Main and Howdon) the streets, parked cars and tight turns ended in quite a few close calls. With cars having to reverse to let the bus past which was blocking the crossroads etc.. The E300 has a lot of overhang at the back and the driver looked nervous and the bus' big 'backend' definitely seemed a challenge even the passengers were commenting.
