Yeah no problem, you can see them on traveline.info but I've attached them anyway.

RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022
So it seems the 60 & 20 will interwork with the 20 using Stand E & L in ParkLane

As it will be A690-Stand E-Burdon Road(wintergardens)-Stand L-A690

61 will standalone
RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022
So it seems it will be DayTimes

24>5>9>9>5>24
24>26>26>24
24>5>9>9>5>24
24>26>26>24

On evenings

24>26>26>24 & 9>5>5>9

I can't find anything for the 29. So I can't see if the 29.

I believe all E400's are being used at Consett - With the Streetdecks probs going onto the 47 or X21.
RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022
So X20 is moving to Stand L. However it doesn't seem like there will be any peak X20 Service going to/from Doxford Park only.

I wonder why GNE aren't thinking about adding an X39, Sunderland - Doxford Park - Sunderland (peak times only)

So as it Stands, the Stand N in Park Lane will only be used about 5 times a day

E400MMCs will be on the 47 as there wouldn't be enough for the X70/X71/X72 (PVR 7x) with 8x out of the 14x already being used on the X30/X31/X45. So that's the 6x sorted and it's likely that 6336-37 would need to go back to Consett too so that adequate 'low height' Euro 6 decker cover can be provided for applicable X30/X31/X45 boards due to the low bridge in Dunston served on the X30/X31.

It will work out something like the following and would keep repaint costs to a minimum with the exception of 6x B9TLs and 6x E400MMC. Although the B5TLs are questionable, GNE will just keep these on the X21 for at least another 2 years if not slightly longer.

E400MMC:
- 6336-37 - Consett Spare
- 6338-43 - 47
- 6344-51 - X30/X31/X45
- 6352-55 - X10

StreetDeck:
- 6331-32 - Washington Spare
- 6333 - Consett Spare
- 6356-62 - X70/X71/X72
- 6363 - X1 (making up PVR of 14x with 6364-76)

B5TL:
- 6308-14 - X21
- 6334 - X21
- 6335 - Riverside Spare

B9TL:
- 6043-48 - Riverside  (1x extra for 58 and 5x spare)
RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022
While trying to work out the 24/20/5/9/60/61+ Peterlee interworking pattern,

61 (stand alone) Every 62 Mins

DayTimes
24>5>9>9>5>24
24>26>26>24
24>5>9>9>5>24
24>26>26>24

Total PVR 18 (Monday-Saturday Day Times)

Evening
24>26>26>24
9>5>5>9

Monday-Sunday Evenings
20>60>60>20 PVR 7/8

Note - 60 looks to be hourly on a Sunday evening, something which wasn't in the Consultation

Also there is a daily 60, twice Daily on a Saturday which runs from Sunderland-New Seaham, could that not just be named the 60A and ran through Station Road-Princess Road upto Parkside? There is also a 4:45 from Parkside

I've also been trying to workout Peterlee Services

and it seems the X6 will interwork with the 206.

However it could be X6-206-209-201-210-201-X6 with the 62A & 61 Interworking aswell.

These would both come under the maximum driving time
RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022
Why is the 41 going back to Howdon can I ask. I thought they withdrawn it in that area due to low passenger numbers??????????
RE: Go North East: Major Service Changes July 2022
(03 Jul 2022, 9:03 pm)Unber43 wrote Also the 61 interworks on a Sunday, but I do not know which service it interworks with.

Is it the 35A?

Would be the only explanation I can think of as to why they’ve split the route at Sunderland, on journeys towards Low Moorsley. Something that should be part of a consultation really, as during Sunday daytimes they’re effectively separate services, let’s hope no one from North Sunderland is needing a Sunday visit to the Hospital.Perhaps even more confusing than a total split, with it being in one direction only. So you can get from the hospital to Castletown without changing buses but not from Castletown to the hospital.

Well there is no mention of the 61A which I could find.

Timetables will probs start appearing today and into Tomorrow

They both will operate to Wallsend, QB all day, the QA, Mornings & evenings

And so the Q3 is being withdrawn

If that's the actual timetable. That's just stupid. Only the QB will go to Wallsend and the QA won't

How is it stupid exactly? A half hourly service is provided to/from Wallsend during the day. I don't think it really matters for most passengers whether is it the QA or QB providing this service.

Why get rid of the Q3 and opt for a bloody letter system

Also How's anyone gonna tell the difference from the QA&QB at heading towards Great Park

Tbf it does seem to be quite confusing. Especially with thier not being a map

The only way your going to tell if the QA or QB goes a different way round Great Park. Is

A, u pick up a timetable from the bus

B, you stay on until the bus turns right instead of left at Great Park

C, the timetable at the bus stops shows a map of which way it goes round the Great park

Don’t think that’s accurate as it looks like the same timetable as now.

'won back' is an interesting turn of phrase.
Especially when they were more than happy to give it up on a commercial basis.

Nexus put this out today on there news section

Funding an increase in the evening frequency of Go North East service 1 between Newcastle and Whitley Bay to two buses an hour.
•    Extending Go North East service 35 to give the Cotswold Estate in Boldon, South Tyneside a new bus service linked to local shops and on to Sunderland City centre.
•    Extending service 41, introduced by nexus in March, to create direct links between northern parts of Wallsend through to Howdon.
•    Funding the continued operation of service 69 in Gateshead to maintain direct links to Queen Elizabeth Hospital from Winlaton, Blaydon and Whickham.
•    Boosting the frequency of the new 82 route Nexus already plans to introduce in Washington.
•    Funding an extension of Go North East’s service Q3 from St Peters Basin in Newcastle to Wallsend, as part of a new route to be called the ‘QA/QB’.
•    Funding the expansion of the service 39 in Sunderland to introduce a new service ‘39B’, ensuring Tunstall Bank Estate continues to benefit from access to the bus network.

Nexus also expects to support the following new or re-routed services, working with Durham County Council to maintain links from the county through south Gateshead to Newcastle:

•    An hourly service 25 between Newcastle, Gateshead, Eighton Banks, Birtley, and Chester-le-Street.
•    An hourly service 28 operating between Newcastle, Gateshead, Wrekenton, Birtley, Ouston, Chester-le-Street.
•    An hourly service 29 operating between Newcastle, Gateshead, Kibblesworth, Ouston and Chester-le-Street

When is it likely what the new timetable / Operator will be available?

I except most of us have the ability to try find advance info on Traveline and Bus Times etc , but the vast majority of the travelling public won’t?
