Stagecoach Route 19?

The 19 was a service that was due to start back in March 2020 - but never started due to Covid

I remember that to it was stagecoach Stockton new buses the service no 19 in 2020 before Covid 19 come a long. If stagecoach Stockton you going about?

I remember when a new 22 service was to start in Doxford in place of the 4  that never started again due to Covid

I believe the 4 was planned to operate between Thorney Close and Downhill & the 22 from Doxford Park to Dene Estate. Personally, I don't think that change would have worked, similar to with when they tried sending the 4 via Farringdon with the now withdrawn 5 via East Herrington for a few months...

That was so incredibly close to happening, I assume similar re the 19. For years afterwards the destinations were still selectable on the Hanover controllers, since removed, but it was weird seeing 4 Thorney Close on a bus. Odd the 19 didn't get removed.

As 34605 and 34611 are now the last vehicle in the front line fleet with Hanover Flip Dot destinations, I don’t think they have bothered doing updated screen lists for them - after all, they’re never going to be used on the 59 out to Durham after all. Likelihood is they are still using a very outdated destination list - indeed, when 39726 moved across to Stockton last summer, it was using a by-then 18 months out of date screen list until Stockton got round to updating it (for context, it still had destinations for the 36 37 and 38 from before they were diverted via Teesside Park - the 38 even still had ‘via Norton Grange’)

If it's anything like 17643, it'll have a special set on due to the flipdot. I went through 643's set when I had it and found all sorts of stuff including the LoLiner logo, 'Superoute', 'City Centre' and 'Wheatsheaf' with no route number, and 'Sunderland Illuminations'. So perhaps it's been deliberately left on as an easter egg. Mind, there's plenty on the LED screens if you know where to look.

Do you mean the 19 as in the open topper that operated for a couple of summers, or something else?

Ive still got the digital copy of the proposed service 22 between Doxford and Seaburn, but cant find the digital copy that i downloaded for service 4 between thorney close and Downhill
