Nothing happened whilst I was there this morning.

Broadly, yes, but I think the story's been twisted and exaggerated to make City look bigger victims than they were. There was video taken and the City driver (Fairchild himself) seemed to be acting very aggressively and provocatively.

Bare in mind I have heard the other guy's side of the story, he said he tried apologising and City were being very aggressive,which caused an escalation. I didn't witness it myself.

I noticed on the 700, is still down to go to Roker from September... is this a permanent change?

I can only assume that this has been kept in place so as to provide a service along Park Avenue, replacing the 18 there?

Looks like it, good to see positive changes - even if the 700 is every 45 mins.

Which isn't great for customers, having different departure times each hour. I'd hoped they'd have used the contract change to alter that.

Actually never noticed that.

No longer serving sheepfolds and the stadium either, it was very poorly used round there anyway

Not surprised, the Sheepfolds has only got the one development completed so far.. hopefully when more is completed, it'll go back around that way.

Surprised at that as Sunderland College opens to students tomorrow (1st Sept) at Sheepfolds and would be generating a few busy trips I would have thought 

I know the staff are already using it

Im sure its part subsidised by sunderland uni so they wont really care about the collage campus

They should really but doesn't surprise me.... Sunderland Uni is in a financial crisis anyway so I'm surprised they've continued to part fund the 700/701.

I'm sure that the Stadium of Light/Sheepfolds was because students used to get free parking at the Stadium (University parking is quite expensive and limited) . Not sure if the University and the football club still have a deal in place. At least that was the case when I attended the University.

Bustimes is tracking that there's 2 Bendy buses and 1 B9 on the 700/701 today

Yeah I saw the B9. Livery looks a bit messy as there is still the London red around the roof and rear door. It has a livery which is mix of Sunderland connect and the regular city livery
