Well that went well didn't it

Was more to save on them having to repaint them again so soon after they were previously done for the 51/52 - chuck some vinyls on and that's another 2 years out of that last paint job.

I reckon it will last a while.

They've got form in suddenly finding out funded services are viable, once a competitor starts sniffing around.

It looks like the solos are going on the 340/341/342 and the 317 is going Streetlites unless its just pure coincidence that there was a Coaster 1 on the 317 this morning
Kind Regards

Solos made up the remaining boards on the 317, so I'm assuming it will be the 317 and 342 which are Solos.

340/341 will probably have a mix of Streetlites and B9TLs as before. (apart from evening/Sundays)

309's looking much better today timekeeping wise with the extra bus and Blyth layover! Was getting worse than when Arriva used to run the 308 with a PVR of x4 and 60 min round trips back in the day!

Well done GNE, finally! No more sloppy Sunday service!

The 356 needs looking at like, used it for the first time today (25/10/25), and at first i though it was due to late running, but its not, its genuinely how it runs, where both go along one behind the other, easiest solution would be not to do the stupid routing round Meadway when its bound for Newcastle, keeping in mind its fine if you going to Newcastle, cus you've got the 38 and 355 to fall back on, but its hourly to Whitley Bay, pretty long cold wait if you miss it
