(08 Nov 2025, 10:38 am)ReDemPTiion wrote 37317 is at Slatyford from South Shields. Anyone know if that’s permanent? Way too many E200’s at Slatyford now
36468-36477
37301
37312-37319
Total of 19. I’d like to think if we’ve got loads of the newer 37***’s the older 364**’s should leave then.

Is 37317 not swapping with 37301 then Shields have batch 37301-37308 and Slaty have 37312-37319?
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
(08 Nov 2025, 10:39 pm)ReDemPTiion wrote 37301 is Euro 6 hence why it went to Slatyford in the first place so I don’t think that would happen but who knows at this point.

Is 37317 not also Euro ,6 as it is regularly covering X34

Yeah it’s Euro 6, I’m surprised one of our 36468-36477 didn’t go to replace it. Same when we got Hartlepool 37319 surprised we didn’t give them on of the 364**’s
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
Was just thinking if the Gas Buses are due to be replaced this week, would it be a good move to reinstate some of the Euro 6 241xx series MANs from Slatyford & operate them out of Sunderland?

I'm sure there's also some 271 series E300s still due to return service that could possibly allow more 280s to be withdrawn & if that's still not enough, more cascades from other divisions.

It would be ideal once the charging situation is sorted for Slatyford for them to take their remaining 6 Yutongs & then have the majority of the fleet operating in the correct places...

I don’t think the 241’s would be a good idea at Sunderland they’re not great buses.

73191-73194 must be due back from Scotland soon with them now receiving their batch of E12’s so I can see them 4 going to Sunderland on loan for a bit

None of 191-4 have tracked since November 7th or 8th

Could potentially be on their way back then. Would make sense for Sunderland to get them plus 73190 as that’s just sat around doing nothing.

West Scotland 73222 SJ75 XOY in the new livery too, must admit it looks nice in the we’ve got you livery.

There is a post on RailUK saying they have found their way to Leyland....

73191 was driven to a yard in Leyland on Monday with 73192 following yesterday. 73193 en-route today. (Just passing Penrith).

73191 reported on bustimes as being at Rugby

So what’s the plan with them? Because I doubt Slatyford would want them with high mileage. Do we think Slatyford might get new ones from another batch when the chargers are finally done?

Aren’t 73053/4/5/6 that are at Stockton originally from Rugby? I wonder if 73191/2/3/4 are their replacement and Stockton are keeping those 4. Would make sense Slatyford getting more new ones when the chargers are done.

Still on the back yard at Slatyford. It was a mistrack 73189 was on that board last night but hey at least it’s on bustimes now
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
Another bridge closed for tests. South Shields   River Drive Bridge, Heugh Street closed for inspections following recent review.  6 months of inspection

Stagecoach routes 10 and E1 diverted away with no alternative facilities

Think a shuttle will be soon be required here, if closed for 6 months.

The Nexus learning centre directly underneath will remain operational (for now)

Going to be a few bridges getting shut down at this rate.  This one is from 1930s
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
Are 73053,6 getting replace because there are rugby buses stockton can't keep much long if on loan to stockton. Stockton have get some more yutongs because there post be 66 yutongs and one U11dd altogether.
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
Slatyford blew the power in the depot again last night charging the electric buses. A lot of them are low charge today 73181 is already below 30% at 12pm so will probably be taken off at some point. They should send them to Sunderland for the time being until we get proper chargers in, it’s pointless doing it like this. Work hasn’t even started on chargers yet, no workmen even in or around the depot!

(14 Nov 2025, 3:49 pm)ReDemPTiion wrote Well Glen if you count them all there’s a total of 66! Rugby have gotten 73191-73194 so looks like Stockton are keeping 73053-73056 and it’s not the end of the world stop crying about it.
Genuine question is there not a way to ban Glen from these forums? Keeps asking the same questions and it’s very annoying!!

Here is a thought, how's about we ban you for always complaining about Glen's repeat questioning, have not stopped to think along with other members of the forum that this member may have learning difficulties and perhaps does not realise the repetitiveness of his questions, appreciate it can be annoying but it is not intentional in his defence, how do think your actions and the actions of other members of this forum as it's not just you may make this person feel?

He's clearly enthusiastic about Stagecoach Buses and is part of the Forum because he shares the same level of enthusiasm as the rest of us but displays in a different way to what a normal person would.

Don't be a dick about it as the way your acting towards Glen and you may fail to realise this is in a discriminatory manner which as an Adult with Autism myself I will no longer tolerate as I am sick of reading this section of the forum and reading the negative comments towards a member of the forum for just asking a question.

Glen also should not at any point have to apologise either as he has just done when he hasn't done anything wrong.

It's odd how Stagecoach Midlands have gotten these 4 when they've got 6 of their own unaccounted for. Numbers 73116 - 73121 have been allocated to that area of Stagecoach and have yet to be used at all. Though 73118 was spotted in Northampton not in service, but that along with the other 5 have been mainly been stored at Corby depot since March.

Don't forget that 4 that officially belong to Midlands are currently at Stockton

I’m amazed Slatyford has managed to get 9 out in service today on temporary chargers. They’re not allowed on late boards so they can be charged overnight, no longer go out on a Sunday either to allow them to be fully charged.

That is an amazing achievement on temporary, I hadn't checked them as I never expected to come across 73190 Wink. The fixed chargers can't come soon enough and get the whole batch reunited Wink.
