Have the gas buses gone to heaven then or do we have them for another week. Such a waste if scrapped. Surely city transport or Northstar could rescue them instead of getting the crap from London

Dwindling down the past week but only companies that could take them on would have to have the facilities to top up with GNC or pay a hefty bill to convert them back to diesel.

West Scotland 73222 SJ75 XOY in the new livery too, must admit it looks nice in the we’ve got you livery.

I was in Kilmarnock today to see the blue Yutongs including that one. Bus times shows 5 as in service but I additionally photographed 73225/28/30 that aren't on there yet so was at least 8 of them running.

It’s confirmed that 73053-73056 are permanent to Stockton now and rugby have gotten Slatyford’s 73191-73194 on a permanent basis as well so once the chargers are sorted at Slatyford they will get some more new ones. That means Glen Stockton have all 66 Yutong E12’s and the U11DD so they will not be getting anything else now for many years.

In theory Slatyford would only need 3 replacements in total to get the 18 that were planned, since they kept 73176.

That’s true didn’t think about 73176!

73190 I believe is double tracking as 26066 it’s jumping around on the 30/31/36 and 10/11 26066 is on the 10/11.

Fairly certain it’s out on the road, presumably works the 5197 most days.

That's still be 80000 recently - as noticeable by that tracking on the UTC turns connected to the 5197 on Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays (it only works 5197s on Thursdays and Fridays so won't track - as it also isn't used on the daytime 57/58 workings on that board).

I do quite like the design of that. I think it looks a nicer design than the single deckers. I like the E400 City Style destination and top.

I'll give it a go if it gets used regular on certain services.

1044 from Teesside Park Curry's stop (Boro bound) was the time I snapped it.

Most seem to disagree with you on that based off comments I've seen over time, although I'm not one of them, if anything, I think this livery actually is one of the better applied to the type, although probs helps it's not all-over green like First have in Bristol or Newport Bus with random bits of black including the front panel. Admittedly there's better looking buses out there, but it could've looked worse.

Ah. Earlier trip.
I went to Hartlepool on it on the 1300 from Middlesbrough.

Got a few decent shots of it at the marina and came back on the next one.

According to the fleetnumber on the ticket, it seems to be using the ticket machine from one of Sunderland's sold gas buses, 28035.

Wasn't it 9 or 10 Yutongs, Sunderland are getting?

Are they newly built Yutongs or loans until new ones for Sunderland are built?

Surprised only another 2 27’s 27175, 27176 and 27242 all down in Plymouth I’d imagine all of them will come back up.
