Potentially as a result of the reopening of Pilgrim  Street for southbound traffic.

It is the reopening of Pilgrim Street which the route lines for 10/11, 30/31 and 37/38 is now available to view on BusTimes.

Interestingly enough, the 10/11, 30/31 show that they will serve both the Art Gallery and Library stops on John Dobson Street, however the 37/38 do not. Another fact is that the 36 doesn't show it stopping at its original terminus on New Bridge Street West even though the bus stop road markings have been painted. Another thing to point out is that the services from Byker will not be returning to original route via Hole in the Hall and the southern end of John Dobson Street.

To me this is a big red flag to obvious congestion. Those two bus stops on John Dobson Street were originally meant for the long distant coaches and the southbound stop outside the Art Gallery was only supposed to be used temporarily while they built the new DWP site. Those stops are already overcrowded enough as it is, with FlixBus coaches blocking the stop for most of the public services. Adding four new services to these stops will obviously cause more congestion than needed (not to mention the horribly placed set-down-only stop that Go North East begged for) and the 10/11 and 30/31/36 (alongside the east end services) have never ever served these stops prior to the long term diversion, so what's the need for said services to serve them now all of a sudden? I could *maybe* see it working if the 12, 39/40, 63/63 were re-routed their original route and the 36 to be reverted to its original stop on NBSW, but while all of these are still serving that stop, it's an obvious cry for disaster. This begs the question of have they even thought this through, or is it just a mistake on their end?

After being in Newcastle city centre today, I've noticed that the old westbound/36/56 terminus stop on New Bridge Street West has been scrubbed off. You can very faintly see where it used to be. No clue what their plan is with this stop anymore.
