Only 6385. 6391 and 6396 at Washington and 6808/6818 at Riverside have entered service thus far.
Are there any photos of the consett allocated deckers.im sorry I don't do Facebook.

Looks like from checking Bustimes.org Red X-Lines 6366/6367 may have gone as not been in service since 12th, 6370 might be another as not been out since 9th and given three of new streetdecks are now in service would make perfect sense.
Green X-Lines 6358 and 6360 have not been out in service since 8th/9th either so they may also be off for repaint if they're not VOR.
All the Angels seem to all still be in service.
Cityriders 6092/6093/6093 have been off the road from 10th & 13th respectively so may have gone for repaint or may be VOR.

There's 3 Cityriders in the garage, didn't catch the numbers, but I'd guess that's where those 3 are.
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
Are they being pushed into service sooner than expected to cover for other vehicles, as from clips on YouTube both the electric and diesel variants of Ultraliners out so far didn’t have their announcements working, nor their rear external destination/number screens?

Yes they have been put in service sooner than planned. Any issues will be fixed within the next week
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
6370 has now transferred to Sunderland..
RE: Electric Buses/new orders
Not sure if it's been mentioned but was something I noticed today when having ride on 6808/6818 is that these Electroliners have reduced seating capacity downstairs owing to the fact these new vehicles come with x1 Pushchair Space and x2 Wheelchair Spaces onboard.
They've also got some canny acceleration if you have a driver like I did on 6818 who put this foot down at certain points, other passengers also commented the notable difference in comparison to the diesel variants along with the quieter and smoother ride.
I thought the interior was quite nice although the seats were a bit firm/hard for my liking and it's so much better without the tables on board. the leg room is pretty decent to no matter where you sit as long as it's not the first two rows upstairs above the drivers cab where they've crammed another row of seats in probably to compensate for the loss downstairs one would presume.
The driver said that 6818 had been out since 05:30 this morning and by the time it had reached CLS around 12ish it had 46% battery remaining, checking bustimes it is still out and has completed 11 trips thus far x2 NCL-Brandon Returns and x9 NCL-CLS Returns.

Two wheelchair spaces is going to cause problems with single wheelchair bays , thinking they can have two wheelchairs on board.....ouch

That’s good going for a cold day. The lack of downstairs seats will be fun at the arnison centre, though. The angels often leave there, Brandon bound, packed like sardines with people who struggle with the stairs and their massive bags and shopping trolleys.

Weren’t the vehicles ordered from ZEBRA2 with the support of NECA supposed to have 2 wheelchair bays so we can begin transitioning to having the ability to carry 2 wheelchair users per bus?
Have to start somewhere.
If operators wanted to speed up the process they could retrofit a back support, bell and any poles required to enable a second wheelchair bay on existing vehicles.

It's a double bay door side x1 WC Space / x1 Pushchair then x1 WC Space on Drivers side of the bus.
They've got it specified that way and that has potentially came off the back of driver feedback across various routes / statistics from potentially how many times a Wheelchair User has been left stranded when spaces on board are already occupied.
I think the main problem they'll have is that there in line with each other on each side of the bus and they've removed a seat to allow sufficient space to manoeuvre but at the same time the spaces are not big in size and are at minimum dimensions wise. The thought is there however execution not so much especially the part-tea pot style posts they've got installed.
It'll be interesting to see what they say with Pushchairs given there is only one space allocated, personally I think there shouldn't be restrictions on what can be allocated a space and all three spaces should allocated on a first come first serve basis to prevent any disputes.

I disagree, wheelchairs should absolutely have priority. Pushchairs can/should be folded if required.

Just thought but maybe the Consett Ultroliners are for the 47 - with 17x E400MMC for the X30s/X70s + X45 leaving 3x spare.
Then if 6086-99 move to Consett, that'll cover a PVR of 12x on the X5/X15 and 16/16A leaving 2x spare.
So that's at least 5x Euro 6 spares available, 3x of them low height. Then whatever else is available too.

On 6398 and there's suspiciously stinky mud on one of the seats already

But who is to say the 16 is getting newer buses?.
The Crusader has 11 reg buses and, given the diamond repaints are not that old, maybe theyll stay?

14/15 year old isn't really 'old' for a B9TL - especially for ones taken from an interurban (although not fully demanding) route mid-life and put onto easier work like the 27. They're as strong as their Leyland/Volvo Olympian grandparents & great grandparents.
The Fab 56 B9TLs going to Consett will be a good fit, especially given they're Euro 6 and can also be used on the X45/47 when no E400MMC or Ultroliners available.
The 27 could maybe be a future candidate for some StreetDecks perhaps if GNE received future EV funding for something like the 56.
Next decker investment will most likely be for the 10/10A/10B/12 and depending which way the wind blows with the allocation cascades from this round - possibly the X21 unless some of the X30/X70 boards go to single deck using some of the surplus Supershuttle E200MMCs, with 8x E400MMC going on the X21 - who knows?
Any good info released where cascades are going?

Newer buses do not have to brand new buses do they and simple cascades.
Also 327 need some cascades too remember as these buses are starting to become foisty and tatty - they don't need to be X lines standard but even a cascade of 3 buses to be branded up in DFDS would be beneficial
