Wonder how long before the gas refuelling system is pulled down?
(25 Jan 2026, 7:12 pm)Dans_bus_photos wrote Makes sense for Sunderland to loose some E200s since the 10/11s must be planned to be fully E300s with the frequency reduction. Wonder what will replace the gas buses then? Surely they can't have long left, given maintaining a full gas refuelling plant seems overkill for 3 vehicles. One would assume cast-offs from another part of Stagecoach. 3 or 4 E400MMCs wouldn't go a miss for the X24 however...

As of writing this message, I'm currently on the 22 on 27734. Face palm.
It'll be interesting to see what Walkergate do now with the 22 frequency reduction as it used to be a dumping ground for the singles. Unsure whether it'll cope with them with the capacity reduction.

(27 Jan 2026, 12:12 pm)SN69 ZRC wrote It's horrendous the amount of singles they have! If I remember correctly, either the 116's or the 117's were intended for the 12's too, and as of right now, theres only 3 double deckers on the 12's, out of a total PVR of 9! And the PVR for the 22's has dropped down by three so surely that makes room to put more deckers on the 12?
I live on the 12 route too, and they always seem to put the singles on the school boards for some reason.
Forget funding for electric buses, we need f**king deckers!

Today at 14:40 there was a single deck stagecoach bus (no id and not electric bus)towed up by alpha along the A181 pass Wingate then on the A19 north , then turned off at Peterlee and entered the Peterlee industrial estate , it was followed along the way by a empty long bedded truck.
