It’s nice to know you do all routes at Percy Main compared to stagecoach where you go on a rota 62/63 for example and just do them all the time which gets very boring. I’ve heard voluntary redundancies at Stagecoach not sure how true that will be or not. I do the 32/32A services and we lose them 22nd March so gotta think of what I want to do before then.
Far from telling you what to do; if I was in the same position, I'd think about how long I had been employed by them, think about what sort of redundancy options there may be and factor any other circumstances like that in to my decision.
Far too many times, I've seen people jump before finding out they would have been entitled to X, if they had seen redundancy through.
There may also be TUPE considerations to think about too.
If the contract is being moved to another provider, you may be eligible to transfer with the contract, to the new provider.
I'm not saying you will definitely get redundancy (I don't know your circumstances) and I'm not saying you will be eligible for TUPE, but at least investigate and look to see what you may be entitled to - if redundancy is going to be the route they go down.
