Do you know what museum? I know everyone hates Temsa Avenues, but I really liked them. Preserved as just a static display, or as it's apparently getting a new gearbox, will it actually be doing heritage rides? Keeping the Arriva livery or not?
Thanks.

Sorry I don't know, I just found this info on Bustimes, a staff member at Tamworth put this info up on there.

That's awesome 2BH. Yes the Avenues were not everbodies favourite ride, especially if you had the pleasure of one from Middlesbrough to Scarborough on an X93!! They were never intended for that sort of work were they?
And then they were flogged mercilessly by Arriva weren't they and probably, gotta be careful here, poorly maintained.
So it's good to see that 4718 is going to live on, hopefully see some heritage work and not end up as a chicken shed or worse.

How come so many Evoras have damaged side panels? 4504 being the latest example and not just a scarpe! You'd think Dormanstown drivers would have more care and respect for their fleet.

You’ve seen the route they ply their trade on right? It’s nigh on impossible not to damage side panels. Although if you feel like you can manage without damaging them feel free to apply for a job and get your license
RE: Redcar depot
How do you know I've not already got my licence? 23 years without as much as a scrape!! I've driven way more challenging routes than the X4, being in more tight spots than these so called professionals have. If they spent more time focusing on the job and not having the attitude that is demonstrated here then these things wouldn't happen.

They shouldn't be damaging panels at all. It's careless driving frankly! The route is not difficult and will have been risk assessed for the vehicles they use.
Poor driving standards from so called professional drivers.
RE: Redcar depot
I can only agree. Damaging any vehicle you are responsible for should be disciplinary matter and potential return to the driving school. In this situation though depot managers would be ove-worked and their wouldn't be enough hours in the day to re-train drivers.who shouldn't really need it.
I had the mis-fortune to travel with one such only this morning. In the first instance he couldn't operate the vehicle correctly and lost time. Then when he worked things out drove,in my opinion, dangerously to make his time up.
It would have been worth reporting but have you tried engaging with Arriva Customer services??
