Anyone know if this is a new name for Nexus?
Kim still appears to be adamant on calling everything the Angel Network, despite yet another name appearing.

I think its the new site the BSIP promised to deliver 12 months ago. We're supposedly expecting it by Spring now.

No references of Nexus on the site so presuming they will be dissolved.
Makes sense.
I do like the bus stop timetable layouts.
Some reason it won't let me save it, as a PDF, so here is a screenshot.
Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.

Must say I strongly disagree, they're just the same as now bar they've removed any form of colour and made a mess of the times.
12 | 00, 30
13 | 00, 30
14 | 02, 32
15 | 05, 35
is much easier to read than
12:00, 12:30, 13:00, 13:30, 14:02, 14:32, 15:05, 15:35
If you want to save space, do it like TFL:

Well its here including a new revamped nexus website. Its a lot of confusing nonsense but its really hard to navigate on the new site which is linked here

Honestly it'll take some use getting to but im not entirely sure what was wrong with everything on the nexus website. It was a lot easier to understand

Yeah, I was trying to find Metro times to Central for Sunday - it would've been easier and quicker to walk to the nearest Metro station and look at the timetable.
At one point it implied there'd be no metros until about 11pm, and the journey planner suggested about 7 different bus options before giving me Metro information as 'the green alternative' (bare in mind I specifically put in two metro stations).
I'm not holding out much hope for franchising ngl.

Going to be blunt, it's utter crap.
Positives:
- The issue with 10 letters on timetables has been fixed
Full list of negatives:
- Journey planner doesn't tell you operator for any mode of transport
- Buses don't combine corridors on timetables so is useless
- Finding the timetable in the first place is a battle of hoops
- There's no pages for specific routes, I know my route numbers, I want to know changes and delays for that.
- Finding delays for things like the Metro is now again through multiple hoops.
- Fare information is worse than the Nexus site and that was bad enough.
- Still zero network maps.
Seriously who signs this stuff off...

U aint the only one thinking that. The North East transport aint gonna get any better if this website is "the future and better understand for people" when even people like us cant understand it. Trying to find or download a timetable is absolutely impossible

Based on a website? Stagecoach and Arriva should have been sacked off years ago if that was the barometer of running a bus service!
I clicked Metro on the home page and then there's a timetable selector. Took about 10 seconds at most.
The timetables option on the site works just as well. Open it up, hit the icon to find your location, then navigate to and select the nearest stop. This is pretty much the same as what I'd do in the GNE app, though it's nice to have the Metro stops badged differently. I do think it's a shame that National Rail stuff doesn't appear on there yet, as that would be pretty easy to implement, and also add some consistency with that information being displayed for departures and the journey planner modes.
I think the From and To search boxes could be a lot more intuitive. I find that sometimes the most accurate result is further down the list than it should be, but the ability to search based on postcodes or street names is actually a lot easier. It's also what a lot of irregular users will have to hand, rather than knowing names of stops, etc.
I also dislike that Grn is used for the green Metro line. That might be the case internally, but it's best not to confuse customers with internal acronyms or codes.

Unfortunately with Madame Mayor at the helm & her passion to label people as 'Net Zero Deniers, and Conspiracy Theorists' & other remarks that she & her party call people for simply being logical & holding a common sense viewpoint on a subject matter, is it any wonder that anything that is under her control is terrible...

Are you on PC by any chance? I was using my phone. It was also horrendously slow.

The nexus website wasn’t relevant for those of us in Co Durham.

Lord that’s a mess. I hope a tfgm style app is coming.
Previous travel info was 2 clicks, that was nearly double figures

From personal use I disagree strongly.
If I click a link saying Timetables, then I want a list of timetables (or an option to search for a route for the timetable). I don't be dealing with maps - period and having to find bus stops, clicking route numbers, clicking a download button (if it actually exists) and then having a tiny box because the map that I don't want is being prioritised and it's unusable because it's a shared corridor anyway.
If people want to use a map, then that's their choice - it shouldn't be forced.
Is it really that difficult to do something like: https://www.bvg.de/en/connections/route-overview (The German version has downloadable timetables aswell)
