Sure I read somewhere that some of the 75 reg deckers were going to Washington for the X1 changes.

I think 6397-6400 will end up at Washington for the PVR increase on the X1 as they've not been out in service today.

Then x4 Ex London B9's from Washington go to Riverside out of 6205/6208/6209-6213 to 6216.

All the Red X-Lines with the exception of 6375 are now at Consett.

Not sure if this is correct but read somewhere that the 4 B9s at Consett were moving to Riverside

If that's the case then it'll be 6157-6215-17 on the move leaving no more B9's at Consett.

Wonder if those B9s will end up replacing the dueldoor deckers if that happens.

Only 6954 hanging on that is Dual Door at Consett, the other 57/08 Plate E400's have all been Withdrawn.

The 60 Plates 6959-6966 were converted to Single Door, could see the leaving the fleet over the summer as I imagine more New Buses will be due.

Oh I never even knew most of them had gone.. thats good.

Could they not be replaced now if theres enough B9s free with the X1 streetdecks going to Consett?


I don't like bustimes, should have a filter so you can look at depot allocations.

6188 has been withdrawn from Washington

8326 has been withdrawn from Riverside officially. 

6950 is still down as being in service but hasnt tracked since april , 6954 is still tracking at Percy main as of today despite being initially withdrawn.

6153/54 still awaiting repaint, along with the remaining 2 Voltras in only Quaycity livery.

Can't see that personally. They've tried to make Consett B9TL free, can't see them reversing that now. The 08/58/59 Plate B9TL's will be first imo and the 63 Plate B9TL's will be the ones replacing them.

Interesting Re-Route choice making it serve The Gate.
Also smart, as it does allow people to make the easier connection to the tour bus from Metrocentre/South East Gateshead buses. Wonder how many more years the current Gemini 2 Volvo's and the E400 Scania's have left Seeing as the DAF & Volvo Presidents did not last long

I’d say not serving Gateshead at all is more interesting

Think the Tyne Bridge works caused too many delays to the service.

With the service only needing one bus most of the time, wonder how often the other open toppers will escape into normal service this summer (weather permitting of course - not that has stopped them running open toppers before.. 6993 on the 340/341 on the 28th November 2025 anyone https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...4958576584).
