Anyone heard about this seasons Magpie Mover??  I searched about it about a month ago and it came back it was going to be £35 quid this season but now I cant find anything concrete.

If its going to be 35 I think i;ll give it a miss.. 19 games x250 or even £2 when that comes in... no buses New years day, Skeleton service Boxinig day and only one journey each way... Think i'll just pay cash!

I'm not sure on your maths Rob but £5 return on the £2.50 fare (there's 10 games in 2026 - excl any potential home cup games) there £50 spent...

Believe it or not maths was my best subject at school!!

Still a canny price hike from last season up around 33% if my maths is correct. but yeh still cheaper if you go to all the games by bus metro or FERRY???

Just hope anday does says buses are free the day after I fork out my £35 bar!

They do seem to have changed one thing. Connections are not allowed - direct journeys only. It was vague in the past but seems to have been altered. 

Not sure how they'll enforce it as you don't scan it

We got told as drivers last season that it's direct only, so people couldn't be connecting off other services. I suppose it only matters outside of Newcastle, for example, someone getting on the 24 at Westoe to go down to Shields Interchange for the Metro.
