Outdated bus stop timetables
I have saw some outdated signs in South Tyneside so if anyone else has seen some put it on here.
One of the Seaburn Terrace bus stops say that the 18 still stops there , the 18 got withdrawn a couple years ago
One of the Pier Head bus stops say the 516 stops the , the 516 got withdrawn a couple years ago

There's one on Chester Road mentions the 2A, 2C, 5 and 5A on the flag!

Where I am there are no timetables only a QR code that goes somewhere that doesn’t work

Anyone know who is responsible for inserting timetable sheets into the cabinets within Northumberland ?
RE: Outdated bus stop timetables
Hebburn Metro has a local area map that references the 88!

The QR code thing is infuriating,...if you're going to take the time, effort and money to put SOMETHING up there...at least make it a timetable and not a QE code that doesn't work. Joke.
RE: Outdated bus stop timetables
My opinion is , if there is a bus stop that no bus uses , give all company's a month window to make a route and if they don't do it , the bus s5op gets knocked down

Bus stop Dame Dorothy Street - Petrol Station the TB1 used to stop there before it got to Haven Court , the TB1 got withdrawn but the bus stop didn't get knocked down even after 2 years of the TB1 being withdrawn
RE: Outdated bus stop timetables
It would cost a lot to remove a bus stop if there’s a shelter, you’d need to have the electric supply switched off and safely disconnected then the shelter craned away and the pavement holes filled in. Easier to leave it in place. You’d need to spend another fortune reinstating it if a service was reintroduced. Obvs less cost if only a pole with flag. Also online bus stop maps would need to be updated
RE: Outdated bus stop timetables
So you'd have every unused stop hauled away, what a stupid idea, sounds like its just an excuse to have another thread where you can have another moan
Kind Regards
