I have had the same problem with 6064. I use the Angel 21 several times each week and manage to connect to WiFi on the majority of my journeys but for some reason I have never managed to find the SSID on 6064.

- Unit 1 = Cobalt Clipper, Cobalt Connect
- Unit 2 = Coaster, 17 and NTL

Think it was the Coaster and NTL (Unit 1), and Cobalts, 9 and 17 (Unit 2)

On x7 Sunderland to Middlesbrough. Had to change buses in Sunderland Interchange as original leaking water. Running 30 mins late. All good now.

Mr Chipchase even got on! Wink

Now there's a name I haven't heard for a while.

I presume the bus was on time. If it was over 10 seconds late there would have been hell on.

Recognised him immediately.
No trickery of the light or instagram type filters used in his profile pic.

It will have been out by a few mins due to the loads that got off/on between Wrekenton and Allerdene (where Mr Chipchase boarded).

I have a feeling he may be banned from the page going by the 'stop spamming the wall please Trent' comment, from the GNE bod one day - hence the lack of complaints in recent months.

Ah I miss the golden days on the GNE fb page. It just isn't the same these days.

As Percy Main will have three Solos sitting around, on Sundays, doing nothing, why don't they operate the 74/X84?

They'd have a hour break in between journeys and more journeys to Hexham would be added the X84.
RE: Go North East - Latest
Does anyone know about wifi on the Citylink Versas? Tried to connect a few a times and it shows as Go North East or Citylink wifi both needed a password. Left a message on GNE Facebook page saying they would look into it a month ago but no reply.

Cheers Les

What was the SSID which you were trying to connect to? CCL/Moovbox/go-northeast-wifi?

Should never ask for a password, as it's an unsecured network. You should only be prompted to sign in once connected, via a webpage. I used a Citylink Versa from Heworth and back earlier, and had no issues.

Though it was 4910 as that can operate on 53/54 as with 2 of my local routes 27 and 27X (on loan to saltmeadows but that is an outstation to riverside so can happen) it's an easy mistake to make with both being red can confuse me at times half the vehicles weather it's off route

aureolin thanks for the reply, on my phone it shows either go north east or citylink wifi as full signal when I try to connect a page opens not a go north east one about free wifi and to accept terms and conditions for the password to log in. Used wifi on the X1 a few times with no problem. 58 is my main route home and I count on one hand how many times its connected.

Icomera is the provider for the Wi-Fi which Go North East uses on-board their buses.
When you click 'Connect' on your phone to the SSID (go-northeast wifi, brand-name wifi or CCL), your phone should open the Icomera 'splash screen', which is a 'sign-in page' to gain access to the Wi-Fi.
After ticking the box on said page, and clicking 'Connect', you should be able to gain access to the Wi-Fi and you are forwarded to Google.

If the SSID is 'Moovbox', you should not have to go through with the above process (for now, I imagine, at least?)

I thought 4910 was W411SCU, and 4911 was W491SCU. Rolleyes

No I thought it was easier for Saltmeadows to run the 32.
