Aye, even some of the chain pubs do huge ones. A few burgers (that are a few centimeters thick), a stack of onion rings, cheese, bacon, buns and usually a giant wooden stick holding them together.

The one I had was like a brunch burger. It had two burgers in (each about an inch thick), bacon, sausage meat, and a fried egg. Was nice, but found it a bit too much. Everywhere seems to be going that way now though. Portion sizes are taking after America.

As tempting as they may be, I often find those huge burgers bland and tasteless - no matter how much stuff is sandwiched between them.

It was from an independent pub, and it was really nice actually. Just awkward, and far too much to eat.

I remember a restaurant in Durham years ago called Stones, the Youth Group was involved with took people there sometimes on/near members birthdays, for my 16th I was taking there, and decided to get the burger with Chips, cant remdmber the weight but it was something mad like 16oz, 20oz or 24oz, I had to take some ingredients out just to shovel it down my throat

Because I wanted to get the dogbowl, let out a couple woof woofs and bury my face in it, my mam threatened me with disowned, so I got fish and chips instead

It's rank when you think about it, because you're non the wiser when you go in to most of these places. Some you can tell on the outset is a dump, but others have low ratings when you wouldn't think it. 

Pizzarama only has a 3 rating, and I'd have said it does the best pizzas in the town.

Nah I like my Stomach where it is Dan, I usually Order from either Donwell Chippy, P&A Gormans(Barmston), Classic Pizza(Concord) although I havent ordered from there in ages or I will order from Dominoes Pizza, otherwise ill just get something out of Asda, cant go wrong with a Pepperoni Pizza and Cheesy Garlic Bread for £1.70, unless of course I end up out for a Meal somewhere.

I've been to Nandos tonight. It's OK but I can cook chicken better!!

Often look for the 'scores on the doors' sticker, placed on the door or window, but like an MOT, it is only as current as the day of the test.

Noticed the old Jet garage on the Felling bypass (opposite Benfield Nissan), is going to be a KFC.
The site has been empty for a while.

The land was advertised for food use, but wasn't sure if it would ever go through.
The parking is limited (never mind access) and the rear of the store, backs on to housing.
