The 208/508 have been massively improved. A hourly service between Patterdale and Penrith is excellent, and one will be with open tops which will be lovely. The 208 will run twice a day too which will be well worth it, think it interworks with the 73/74 from Carlisle too.
Lakeside will also get a service which is excellent as I will be able to try out the Haverthwaite-Lakeside railway now, something I've been wanting to do for a while.
The 77/77A and 78 have also been improved too. Good things all round.
Just shows the level of tourism that it depends on!
Lakeside & Haverthwaite railway can be accessed from catching one of the services (I think it's the 7 or something) as it takes you to Haverthwaite.
