I wonder what GNE has planned, run the 20/20A so far and terminate them before at Belmont and run some sort of shuttle? or otherwise theres not going to be any buses between south shields and sunderland if the 20 gets delayed as their will be long tailbacks etc..., just have to see when GNE announcing on their facebook page or website.
The route change on service 204/208/265/865 will be due that claypath sliproad will be closed.
I reckon just from looking at Google Maps the 20/20A will have to go via the A690, Alexandria Cresent, Margery Lane, Quarryheads Lane, Church Street, New Elvet and rejoining normal route at Leazers Road Roundabout and onto the A690, Services 204/208/265/865 will do the same route continuing up the A690 to the turn off for Gilesgate where normal route will resume, would hazard a guess there will be a shuttle between Claypath and Gilesgate also.
