My favourite War Games match from Wrestle War 1992 (Paul Heyman's Dangerous Alliance: Rick Rude, Steve Austin, Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton and Larry Zbyszko -vs- Sting's Squadron: Sting, Nikita Koloff, Bary Windham, Dustin Rhodes and Ricky Steamboat). The rules are explained at the beginning of the video/match. You have to watch it to appreciate it though. It was very much a precursor to the Elimination Chamber.

Like most bookers, he had his moments but was reluctant to change his booking philosophy over time. Look up the term 'Dusty Finish'. It's still used today and is effective when used sporadically, but it tends to have negative effects if used all the time.
