Has anyone got any suggestions on where to go?
Got some great ideas if you prefer a more scenic touch as I am just like you, in school and rolling on the final week!
Beamish is a lovely place to get good photos of the 8, 28 and 28A. I would recommend a Saturday for this though as the 128 makes a nice addition for a good hour or so!
On the X30/31/70/71 there is a part between Lobley Hill and Sunniside where you can get a nice few photos.
A good idea will be to go to where I went yesterday, Low Pittington to get some last minute photos of the MPD's before they get withdrawn for the East Durham Solos. You can get there on the 204, 208 and 265 all from Durham.
On the 3rd August(Monday) I would suggest going to Hexham and around that area(Acomb, Corbridge etc.) to get the new routes that will be put in place, the 680 and the 682.
And finally, if you want some nice photos of the Toon Link(11)/Red Kite(47), you could go up to Garesfield Golf Club which is between High Spen and Chopwell, it is a lovely place with a great backdrop for the ideal photo!
Sorry if I am getting too carried away, there's just many nice place I have been and it's nice to share those once in a while!
