I don't think Arial was used previously on the X66 destinations - compare the two route numbers below:

Go North East: 5392 / NK15EMX by Daniel Graham, on FlickrI can't remember which font was used, but it certainly doesn't appear to be Arial. The 'X' is now completely drawn manually, with the '66' in Arial Bold Italics.
