I moved seats after an argument broke out behind me after a mother gave her child a cigarette. Then someone got on while on the phone saying he wasn't allowed to use the Metro, go to Newcastle, Gateshead or Sunderland under something or other.
Subway is ridiculous and customer service is non existent.
The QuayLink announcements are over the top, two announcements per stop then announces the next stop once we arrived at the previous stop...
StreetLites are crap. Shields Ferry is rubbish. Service 333 is beyond belief. And service 19 required me to make a pit stop at Bedlington after I nearly passed out on board.
It announces the next stop once the doors are closed, if the bus does not stop, it announces it 60 metres from the stop it has just passed.
Reason each stop is announced twice is that you announce the next stop, but then the bus stops at a traffic light or junction, the person with little eye sight could think the bus has arrived at the stop, stand up and then when the bus pulls away, goes arse over tit.
There is always a reason why things are done
