I simply explained that I believed in equal opportunities and it was my commitment to equality which prevented me from acting in the chivalrous way she would've liked. It seemed up shut her up.
And I agree with you. Lacking a certain appendage doesn't mean I can rightly insist on being given a preferential place in a queue.
