The other 3 stops that are losing out on the X12 retain the 56/57/57a every 15 minutes. You'd hope they'll upgrade it to something bigger than Solos at some point.
I understand that with the Coxhoe Church stop, but it's a question of the logic in how the stops have been selected for the X12. Yes the 56/57/57A remains, but that doesn't help those wanting to travel to Teesside or Tyneside though. A more even split in distance between stops would.
On the subject of Solos, I have to agree with you. The East Durham College deal seems to have really taken off, and there's a good few using it in both directions. There was 13 got on the 56 I was using yesterday afternoon, which left standing room only into Durham. I've yet to experience it at peak hours, with me being on leave, but it'll certainly be interesting to see the loadings...
