Similar sort of story on the 30 as well, as we got closer to Stanley there was only two seats left on the bus and two people chose to stand instead.
Obviously it's the first full day of the changes and people are all over the place with these changes, not knowing what bus is going where etc. and the V7 I was on was running around 10 minutes late which probably didn't help matters.
Aye - I was surprised to see it there - we were on the red citaro that arrived at Stanley on the 16A just before 11 - it had taken us ages to get there because the 22 we were on ended up arriving at Durham about 8 minutes late, so we missed the 16.
We hopped on the X31, instead. Littl'un enjoyed that particular ride. He'd spent the journey on the citaro obsessing about the BUTTONS!!!! and setting them off, thankfully while we were sitting at bus stops with the doors open.
