I suppose, if it is planned to happen, Go North East could look at retrofitting power sockets and Next Stop Announcements to the four Volvo B9s, and possibly re-trim the seats in e-leather. That way, passengers on the 45/46 services wouldn't see a downgraded specification as a result of the interworking with service 47.
This is entirely speculation on my part, you understand, rather than anything confirmed, based on the speculation that the operation of service 47 will indeed transfer to Stanley.
