Also adding 25 minutes to the route would mean that the times wouldn't match up, you would end up with the X10 having to leave either Newcastle or Middlesbrough at the same time as the X9. Also passengers in Stockton and Norton would not have the alternative of the fast bus to Newcastle as the X9 runs via Billingham, plus I'm assuming this would be the Sunday route as well which would take 2 hours and that's not including layover times, this suggestion would probably come very close to the maximum number of hours a driver can do without a break on a route with a tachograph and on this route where if something goes wrong on the A19 and heavily delays the service, it may be unable to complete the journey.
