Vykings however are the work of the devil
I wasn't really interested in buses during that period of time, but I remember being told about the OmniCities being completely unsuitable, with people left behind frequently. Whenever I see a Lolyne, I have an urge to bash it, as they're so small in number now.
I agree about the Vykings. Their dual-door features were completely unsuitable for the infrastructure up here (for example, rear doors opening onto the face of a bus shelter), and most of them didn't know what had hit them when they'd gone from trundling around the streets of London at 30mph to Newcastle-Bishop Auckland. I like 3983, it is seemingly well-liked overall, and it's quite a speedy machine. Shame about the Voith gearbox.
