There is some reference to the North East too.
Regional revenue growth was 2.6%, driven by higher contract income and increases in fares in line with inflation. The decline in passenger numbers of 0.5% is a result of continuing weakness in the north east economy, as well as significant roadworks in Oxford, and lower oil prices reducing the marginal cost of car travel. Passenger growth, excluding these areas, was 1.0%. Growth was driven by an increase in commercial passengers, offsetting a decline in concessionary travel.
