What are the most common reasons for rare workings as I was under the impression that branded buses were for their respective routes with spares ect?
(not complaining btw I was pleased to have a new Enviro on the 13 this morning because of the free wifi haha)
Cheers
Could be a branded bus has to be kept in for inspection then later in the day a changeover is needed and that is all that is available, Then you get like Blyth Arriva where buses are swapped between routes to keep the services on time. Or a bus could be defective so kept local rather than used on the longer branded route.
Then some branded routes interwork with others, especially on a Sunday o evening/early morning.
But then I've heard people say on here that some depots they just allocate the buses depending where they're parked regardless of the branding as they can't be bothered to move them round!
