I agree, Be costly training different depots how to maintain a unique batch of buses, When they can be concentrated on single depot.
Similar to how Arriva are concentrating there Scania's on Darlington depot only.

Markets change, Some routes might not be viable anymore for double deck operation.
Though I'm not sure on how well loadings are up in Teeside.
