RE: South Shields Rally
(05 Jun 2016, 3:51 pm)Jimmi wrote I knew of this event but once again didn't realise it was today. Not really of any intrest to me from what I've seen, don't particularly want to spend an hour and a half on a Prince Bishops Streetlite, to go and see another Prince Bishops Streetlite. Again, this is just what I've seen on Facebook and Flickr, for all I know there could be stuff of intrest to me there but I ain't wasting my time just going to photograph Go North East service buses in a field.

Castles, Prince Bishop and a Tynedale Links were the stationary buses at the rally. The Castles was the rally control bus. A Yellow Bus Olympian actually partook in the run.

Other than that, it was just a handful (between 10 and 15) preserved buses.

The main attractions at this event are various preserved/vintage vehicles - ambulances, fire engines, lorries, trucks and cars.

By no means a bus rally!
