Arriva Blyth does seem to have an X12 double decker so they have at least one extra for this weekend.

I do have to say Arriva Blyth could of planned a little bit better. Last night at 21:30 after the fireworks the bus station was busy but there wasn't any buses because Arriva were taken them off.

Mmm, interesting point.  Surely Arriva should have considered their ability to run their usual services that would incur increased demand at a time such as this. However, instead theyve tendered for nexus work and placed at least 4 deckers on the 900. Seems like commercial interest has gone over sensible planning for a major event and the loser is Joe public
