For Today, why didn't Arriva just pay an extra driver or 2 to come in and run the 306 with a 23 minute layover at Haymarket instead of interworking it with the 308? Surely by the time fuel and wages were taken into consideration, it wouldn't cost much more than paying for all the overtime needed plus any other expenses acquired.
And not just mentioning Arriva as the same goes for GNE and the 310 too.
