(19 Sep 2016, 7:21 am)GX03 SVC wrote I've now had someone else (more reliable than the other I got the 6/7 new buses thing from) that there's 12 new E400MMCs coming, and that 57 reg Sapphires are going to Jesmond.
What I've been thinking is that 7501-9 is being replaced by 9 new E400MMCs, and 3 are going onto 35. 7501-9 would replace 4516-23 at Jesmond, potentially putting up competition on the Killingworth corridor with Stagecoach.
I've also been told that 4653 and 4659 are moving onto the X20, which might be the service going every 30 minutes between Ashington and Newcastle?
Now that makes more sense
I guess the following could also happen: 3 of the 12 MMCs onto the X20 with 4653/9, with the 4 B7TLs onto the 35 with 1579-81?
7501-9 would be more than capable of handling most Jesmond routes.
Now, if all of the above is true, please get white displays in the Sapphire E400s.....
