Same with the two lane into one filter just before the footbridge, and of course buses from under the viaduct needing to get across three lanes of traffic.
That whole entry area into the bus station should be one big box junction really.
The A690 speed limit at the location shown in the proposals is only 30mph, but the entrance and exit are both to be 'intelligent' traffic light controlled, to give buses priority. The traffic light systems will also be part of DCCs Project SCOOT.
