Having lived through a couple of re-brands myself, I've always received a updated branding guidelines policy, which generally covers destroying any stationary with the old logo, replacing email signatures, letterheads, etc.
Haha! We have a contraband mug from Husband's old employer with their old, old old logo on, from over a decade ago!
