As for the X22 change, this will supposed see new short journeys between Middlesbrough and North Tees Hospital (so really short) which will mean that Arriva and Stagecoach will both boast 8 direct buses an hour between Middlesbrough and Stockton - Stagecoach's 'Zone' 36/37/38 vs Arriva's 'MAX' X12/X22/X66/X67.
Stagecoach also have the 13, which at 17 minutes is only 2 minutes behind the zone and 1 minute behind the X12, which would take their offering up to 10 buses an hour
