Given the issues so far on both Moors and Dales, I wonder if they even consider the contracts next year? That tow-in wouldnt have been cheap.

Not to mention there's also the likelihood that the DalesBus 830 won't return next year (and beyond) due to a lack of funding, the Arriva 830 wasn't looking like it wouldn't be back this year until funding was found at the last moment to support the service for the year.
Pretty much all of the independents local to the DalesBus and Moorsbus routes currently have no buses that are newer than the 11 reg Solo's currently used on the 830, pretty much the only options are Dales & District two Solo SR's or Scarlet Band using a Durham Park & Ride Solo SR although Dales & District currently use both Solo SRs on their two DalesBus offerings this year.
