I did this route a couple of Sundays ago and it was pretty much full. They need to at least maintain the vehicle well that does this route as they could of avoided the breakdown yesterday easily. I think it would be good if an Independent company such as Dales & District did this route but as you say they use both their Srs on services this year. They do have the two 14 reg Enviros but they are awful rattly things.
Pretty much all of the independents local to the DalesBus and Moorsbus routes currently have no buses that are newer than the 11 reg Solo's currently used on the 830, pretty much the only options are Dales & District two Solo SR's or Scarlet Band using a Durham Park & Ride Solo SR although Dales & District currently use both Solo SRs on their two DalesBus offerings this year.
