I arrived about 17.40, into the tail end of it all - the ambulance was parked on one of the stands in the middle of the bus station, but left a few minutes later. It didn't use blue lights or sirens when it left, so no emergency case on board. I guess, given the nature of Haymarket, it's likely that there were standing passengers who may have fallen over as a result of the collision, and who therefore needed a medical check-over to make sure they were OK.
